Barn in Winter

Dead of Winter

I have developed a great attraction to barns, especially older ones.  They have a character to them that appeals to me.  From a distance they have a dignity and up close they often offer visual textures that are spectacular.  This one spoke to me this past winter about that cold and dreary time known as the dead of winter.  Which is funny given that this was one of the mildest winters since I moved here.
