You may have noticed I was missing last week. The plan was that the post would be a little late, but then real life intervened.
It was interesting.
Last weekend involved a trip for me that chewed up all of Saturday and about half of Sunday. At least that was the plan. The post would then go up on Sunday, just a little late. Then my car’s transmission blew up and then it looked like my wife’s car had also broken (turns out it didn’t) but I had to get the car towed to a shop. They gave me a “blood rushing to my toes” kind of estimate so I had it towed to a different place. Plus there was the actual job and meetings and the like. So little things like the delayed blog post kept getting, well, delayed.
So here’s the update. This week has been a catastrophe and I have no idea how I’ve been doing. Because mostly I’ve just been hanging on by my fingernails. Last week’s weight was good. Relatively good eating and three really good days of exercise. We moved in the right direction. So I’m going to stick this post in here a little early (or really late, depending on what you want to look at), go off and enjoy the holiday weekend and come back next week.
I’m trying to convince myself to set a goal and try to run a 5k in about three months. There are “issues” with that which I will describe next week.
My resolution remains :
