Nothing like a good number to start you off for the day. Deuces are wild!
The exercise regime is improving too. Still not getting out as often as I want (three times this week) but just being consistent is a HUGE improvement.
A week ago I did the full distance I’m training for and recorded a 15:34 min/mile pace. This week hasn’t allowed me the time for the full distance, so I’ve been two miles instead. Times have been consistently in the fourteen minute range (14:44 and 14:15). I managed one jogging section for each circuit this last time which felt really good. So we are headed in the right direction. I’m not as sore after the runs either.
Still don’t think I’ll ever become a fan. But clearly it’s a good addition to the workout regime.
The numbers prove that.
Eating was OK this week. When combined with even the minimum exercise I saw a great number when I had my weekly appointment with the scale.
Now to make it two weeks in a row.
One step at a time.
My resolution remains :
want to am going to be The Guy again. The Guy weighed 175 pounds and looked good and felt good. And his blood pressure was good and his blood tests were good. (New photo of The Guy)
