Time to Change – The Illness Diet

I guess you take help whatever the source.

Last week I mentioned  that I had gotten sick following a rather intense week.  It started out as a just a cold but then headed into my chest and knocked me out.  Tuesday I left work early because of it.  I ended up missing three days of work and canceling a weekend event.  It has been a while since I felt that cruddy.  I will spare you the details.

On the other hand, my reduced appetite continued apace.  As did the good movement on the number, so I guess I will take the good with the bad.  It feels like I’m finally putting this behind me (fingers crossed).  The weather is getting really nice and I’m hearing the call of the road with the bike.

The upside of illness is that it makes me want to get out and do things, after being stuck in the house for most of a week.

This is feeling really good.  Gotta keep moving in the right direction.  The glory of “one-derland” is just around the corner.

My resolution remains:

This guy – 2009

I want to am going to be The Guy again.  The Guy weighed 175 pounds and looked good and felt good.  And his blood pressure was good and his blood tests were good. (New photo of The Guy)

The next milestone is getting back below 200.  I will get there and go on.
